umob
umob launched its 360 campaign in November across Journey Ads, Video Ads, Monthly Competitions and Bike Sponsorship Advertising taking over 2,750 bikes with rear fender branding. Their goal is to increase brand awareness in London and drive app downloads. Each branded Forest ebike serves as a moving billboard activating a high visibility, mobile campaign across the capital by carrying umob’s eye-catching yellow branding all through residential areas, high streets, parks, train stations and business districts.
The Bike Sponsorship brand awareness spread across 2,750 ebikes is reinforced within the app and drives knowledge of the umob product to our 1.5M users.

Forest deployed 2,750 branded ebikes across London in November 2025, with umob’s branding on our rear fenders achieving city-wide exposure.
Bike Sponsorship visibility has a defined correlation with an increased in-app engagement. Therefore, we combined the Bike Sponsorship with a bespoke Forest Ads campaign to reinforce awareness and drive knowledge of the umob product. With over 1M digital impressions, strong Click through Rates (CTRs) and the continuous growth in overall reach and click volume underline how our Bike Sponsorship brand visibility has fed digital engagement.
At Forest, we always like to give back to our users, creating mutually beneficial partnerships and strong brand-user connections to achieve high engagement and lay the foundations for long term impact. With umob, it was no different as we launched a monthly competition where 10 lucky riders that rode a umob bike 3 or more times would receive £100 umob vouchers to use across their app. This instantly created a positive relationship between our 1.5M riders and umob. Gamifying our user experience by incentivising riding the bikes via a competition has proved time and time again to be an effective way to drive brand awareness and engagement.
IMPACT
In addition to the successful Bike Sponsorship brand awareness and over 100% week on week growth in umob app downloads we always go above and beyond to maximise return on investment. Therefore, because umob’s product allows people to access ebikes across major European cities (most of which are reachable via the Eurostar), Forest carried out a number of strategic ebike deployments outside St Pancras station. With 39M annual footfall at this station, Forest identified the European transport hub as the perfect area to not only generate awareness in London but actually for those travelling to cities umob operate in, such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Paris. Whatever our clients’ goals, Forest goes the extra mile.
